Sorry I haven’t updated recently.

If you weren’t aware, my wife had a baby. So things have been a bit busy. I’m still trying to get editing done on the Space Vampires game, it’s gone slow though because of the baby and remarkably heavy deadlines on my part.

That having been said, I have something free and interesting for World of Darkness players (specifically Hunter the Vigil players.) It’s a short scene of activity called I Want So Much More. It’s a nice little sample of writing, and a piece of game material for your reading/playing pleasure. Go check it out. Download it. Play it. Let me know what you think.

If you’re interested in the things I’ve been working on, check out Battle Bunker Games. On their front page is a teaser for an upcoming zombie miniature game. That teaser is a sample of my fiction for the book. It’s looking to be a doozy.

So, until next time!

Oh, and for posterity’s sake, I wanted to talk a little about Abby from NCIS. I’m experimenting with something that fellow writer and friend Chuck Wendig said. He said that upon mentioning Abby, played by Pauley Perrette, attracted a ton of hits to his site. He got a number of very weird search terms drawing attention. I’m wildly curious, so humor me.

I told you already, but it needs exclaiming again: Crimefighter is a great middle name.

    lol.

Thank you. It’s best when shortened to “Katy Crimefighter.” I love it. It’s going to get so many stupid questions at PTA meetings.

    Thanks :)

By the way, how is Space Vampires going along?

  4. admin

Slow. Once I get caught up on the deadline I’m doing right now, I’ll move into the next stage.

[...] David Hill — he who is staring balefully at you right there — broke into my house yesterday. He was dressed as some kind of… robot? Robot ninja? I’m really not sure. He had a circuit board strapped to his chest, but a black hood pulled taut over his head. He had a fake ray gun and some homespun smoke bombs. A ninjabot? A ro-ninja? Robo-ronin? Whatever. Anyway, he threatened me with violence if I didn’t address the question of, “What makes a good pitch” on this here bloggerverse. He wants me to tell you how to pitch? I can do that, I guess? [...]

Cool. Let me know. I have a bit of extra time starting this weekend, so I am able to take on an extra section if need be.

You know, I think the system and superpower stuff isn’t taken yet. I just sent you what I’ve got so far.

  8. Alea_Iacta_Est

You know what, give me a bit to look over the system and I’ll do the core for the 15th.

Cool. I’m in no hurry. I’m pounding out words for Shadowrun right now, and I’ve just gotten contracted for some more Eclipse Phase work, and some Pathfinder stuff. So I’m not getting any less busy in the next couple of weeks.
